Under the leadership of Interim Executive Director Heather Hanna, Enterprise Business Information Technology Solutions (eBITS), in partnership with business process owners and business leaders across campus, aims to help advance operational excellence through administrative systems and services. A history of effective custom-built systems is now being transformed to bring modern, effective services and technology to the UT campus – regardless of who builds or manages the software or how they are delivered.  The implementation of Workday HCM/Payroll in November, 2018 was the first major step in this journey.

Road-mapping of all administrative HR, Payroll, Financial and other systems we steward is underway as we support the university mission in a sustainable way.

Enterprise Business Information Technology Solutions (eBITS) is a unified, enterprise-focused business IT organization that partners with central business offices and stakeholders across the university to leverage a sole point of contact for systems support and services. eBITS manages systems and provides IT support services related to financial accounting, financial reporting, student accounting, risk management, human capital management, recruiting, benefits, employee learning management, inventory management, payroll, purchasing and procurement, reporting, travel, credit card processing, TXShop, and research administration. eBITS also provide customer support through a single help desk and knowledgebase called askUS.
