Financial and Administrative Services (FAS) Communications

Financial and Administrative Services (FAS) Communications oversees all communications from the Office of the Senior Vice President and CFO and works with the portfolio’s affiliated units to develop communication strategies for product launches and provides content strategy, marketing, and design support for campus campaigns, website redesigns, and related announcements for distribution to general and specialized audiences.

The FAS Communications team also works with affiliated units to produce high-visibility print and online products used to communicate with the campus community, the news media and other audiences.

FAS Communications Project Intake
To initiate an FAS Communications project, please send an email request to sarah.hill@austin.utexas.edu. In your request, please include details such as timeline, tasks, and resources who will complete the task. Following your request, you will receive an invitation to your project in Basecamp, a project management tool used by the FAS Communications team. You will be asked to complete a Project Scope Form. Once we receive the form, we will assign, schedule and track your project.

FAS Web Update Requests
To initiate changes for your website, please email trecs.web@austin.utexas.edu. Your request will then be routed to the internal Communications team or to TRECS for handling. Once your request is complete you will receive an email confirming completion.
