12.5. INTERNATIONAL NONEMPLOYEES - GENERAL INFORMATION

The University of Texas at Austin invites international citizens to lecture, collaborate with research, perform other business services, or provide artistic performance. Immigration laws restrict employment of individuals who are not residents of the United States. In order to comply with these immigration laws, the university has developed procedures to verify the legality of payments for services performed inside the United States. Travel reimbursements for our visitors may also be restricted.
