Dear FAS Community,

Thank you for participating in the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Learning Survey. Your input is invaluable and will be the basis for ongoing growth across our portfolio. The Learning Survey results are now available for you to view in Arabic, Farsi, French, English, Kinyarwanda, Spanish, Swahili, Turkish, and Vietnamese. For bar charts, translated descriptions are available by hovering over the image.

The results provided us with a more accurate picture of our portfolio’s appetite for learning and the various ways in which we want to learn. This feedback comes at a time when we are experiencing significant changes and presents important insights into how we can learn, develop, and grow together.

Accomplishing such work involves gaining self-awareness about how biases can influence interactions between employees, and how our similarities and differences may affect our workplace relationships, productivity, communication, innovation, and teamwork.

The EDI Committee has shared an overview of your responses with portfolio leadership and reflected on your feedback and common themes. Our next steps will include:

  • Collaborating with portfolio stakeholders to identify an inclusive and blended learning approach that is accessible and approachable for all FAS employees.
  • Developing a roadmap that shows clear steps for learning goals across the portfolio.
  • Operating transparently and sharing results and progress with the community as we continue to gather feedback, outcomes, and data

The EDI Committee remains committed to following through on these goals, as they are key to fulfilling our mission to foster a culture of inclusion, equity, and diversity within FAS and enhancing the ways we work together.

We invite you to review the survey results and share your ideas and additional feedback, including ideas on encouraging participation, via email, our Idea Catcher, or direct contact with individual committee members.

Thank you again for your feedback,

FAS EDI Committee
