University Closure and Timekeeping Guidance

Dear FAS colleagues,

I hope you all are safe and warm today. Per President Jay Hartzell’s message yesterday afternoon, the university campus is closed until further notice. The university will provide an update to the community this afternoon regarding plans for Friday’s campus operations and for the weekend.

Please note that the president’s message also included a link to timekeeping information. If you have additional questions about timekeeping, please reach out to FAS Human Resources Support Services (FAS HRSS).

I want to take this opportunity to thank each of you who are doing your part in supporting our campus and community during this weather event. My deep appreciation goes out to our FAS colleagues who are reporting to campus to ensure that the campus is safe and that critical operations continue to be maintained. For those who are teleworking today to keep things moving as well, I appreciate your contributions to keeping business continuity and work flowing across the portfolio and university.

All of us should continue to watch for more weather and campus updates as the freezing temperatures continue. Please take note of the links and resources provided in the president’s message for how to continue receiving updates and university information.

Thank you for all that you do.

Regards,
