The Financial Systems Modernization Initiative aims to enhance The University of Texas at Austin’s financial operations by standardizing processes and preparing for a future ERP system implementation. The project is structured in two phases, focusing on improving existing systems, business processes, and data usability. Phase 1 began in November 2023 and will conclude in September 2024, with Phase 2 scheduled to start in the fall of 2024.

Launching in November 2024, UT Works will replace FAMIS and WORQS, streamlining operations and improving data management, with strong support from FAS units.
