GFT report codes are determined based on the gift agreement, Budget Group title, and gift purpose; or by the GFT Report Code of the funding Account. GFT Report Codes should only be used on 30-Accounts.
Definition
GFT report codes determine the type of Gift.
o Note: Since there historically has been no integration between DEFINE and VIP, it is common for the two systems to be out of sync. VIP is the System of Record for Gift Purpose information.
